About English
The English section checks vocabulary and grammar: synonyms and antonyms, one-word substitution, idioms and phrases, spelling, and filling blanks with the right article, preposition, tense or conjunction. These questions reward regular reading and a clear grasp of a small set of grammar rules.
Every question here is written and checked by hand, and each one has a single right answer. Explanations give the meaning of the word or idiom, or the grammar rule behind the answer, so each mistake teaches something you can use again.

How to prepare
- Learn new words with their opposite and one example sentence, not as a bare list.
- For a fill-in-the-blank, read the whole sentence first; the words after the blank often decide the answer.
- Learn idioms as whole phrases with their meaning; they rarely mean what their words say.
- Keep a list of words you misspell and revise it every week.
Tip: Questions you miss are saved automatically — revisit them in My mistakes until you clear them.
